Born in 1980, Govt Medical College in Calicut, Kerala, is home to one of the most distinguished and longest-running urology departments in the world. This is where Dr. Nitin completed his training. He is a shrewd, fearless, and accomplished urologist thanks to acquiring his clinical urology abilities and studying from such a highly seasoned department.
During his tenure at the Govt Medical College in Calicut’s department of renal transplantation, he has accumulated a multitude of experience. Apart from being part of the Cadaveric Renal Transplant Program, he was also trained to do Live Renal Transplants.
Dr. Nitin is skilled in Miniperc, Standard PCNL, URSL, and Percutaneous Cystolithotripsy and has completed over 5000 endoscopic surgeries. As of 2016, he has been conducting laser surgeries. He is an expert in RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery with Flexible Ureteroscope and Holmium Laser), Miniperc, Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP), Laser VIU, Laser PCCL, Laser fulguration of Cancer Urinary Bladder, Laser Diverticultomy, and other procedures.
Including HoLEP, TURP, TUIP, and prostatectomy, Dr. Nitin has performed over a thousand prostatic procedures.
Dr. Nitin has been conducting reconstructive procedures such as urethroplasty, urethraloplasty, ureteroreterostomy, ureteric reimplantation, and Boari flap reconstruction.
